Welcome to Garjoo online marketplace. This website and its mobile applications are owned and operated by Garjoo Inc, Edmonton, Alberta Canada. BY USING THIS WEBSITE THE USER, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING GARJOO USER AGREEMENT: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.PLEASE DISCONTINUE YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE AND ITS MOBILE APPLICATIONS IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO GAROO USER AGREEMENT.

Garjoo updates or may change its terms and conditions without notice. Regular review of Terms and Conditions keeps you updated. Your continued use of the website and its mobile applications signifies your acceptance of these terms and any changes in effect at the time of use.

General

1. You will not post any items which are prohibited by a local, national or international law, including but not limited to any regulations having the force of law or Garjoo’s restricted items policy in any country.
2. Only registered users can post their items on the website.
3. At the registration stage, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself such as your name, your phone number, your residential address, and your email address.
4. You will receive an activation link or code in your email or phone confirming your registration.
5. You will read all the terms and policies and indicate your consent to be bound by this website’s and its mobile user agreement policy, terms of use, and restricted items policy. You must finish all the registration process to get website access.

You will not bring or institute any action, claim, or legal proceeding against Garjoo Inc and its subsidiaries or affiliates in any country for the loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of Garjoo website and its mobile applications. Any damage or risk caused due to the posting of material by member or visitor which may include dishonest, defamatory, or offensive material rests entirely with each registered user or website visitor. Garjoo.ca will have no liability to anyone.
7. You agree to indemnify Garjoo.ca including its subsidiaries, affiliates, it’s, and their employees, agents, directors, and officers harmless from any losses, claims, or liabilities, including any legal cost arising from your breach of this agreement or terms of use.
8. Fees: Most of the Garjoo website features and services and its mobile application is free to use but we have paid only services too. You will be notified and will be asked to review and accept the fee. We charge periodical fees in Nepalese currency. Fees may change from time to time but will inform you when it changes. Fees are non- refundable; a careful review is necessary before you decide to pay or you can call our customer service or use online webchat service.
9. Mobile applications: We provide services through Google’s Android and Apples app. Both Google and Apple are not responsible for the content and application. Both of these applications have no obligations for the maintenance and support services with respect to this applications.

Review and testimonials writing Policy:

Garjoo website user agrees to the following terms and conditions to write the review and testimonials.

1. You agree to provide your true and verifiable identification information. ( your information is safe with us, and will be handled according to Garjoo privacy policy. (please review Garjoo privacy policy)
2. You agree that you are writing your direct experience with the product and not any other person’s opinion including your relatives, friends, and family
3. You agree that you will not use socially inappropriate words to write your experience relating to the product or service.

Each Garjoo website users, reviewers, and testimonial providers agree that they release and indemnify Garjoo.ca its mobile applications and Garjoo’s affiliates directors, managers, officers, employees and agents from all actions, damages, and claims in the event that review writers or testimonial providers have a dispute with any party to review writing or testimonial providing.

Posting of following items in the Garjoo website and in its mobile applications are prohibited

Weapons:

Biological, chemical or nuclear weapons,

Weapons of mass destruction, arms munitions, military weapons and any related parts or components of such weapons

Any replica weapons, BB and pellet guns Tear gas, stun guns, crossbows and material arts weapons are strictly prohibited.

Explosives:

Ignition and detonation, a radioactive substance, fireworks and firecrackers, and associated items or products

Stocks and Securities :

Any products of security or finance-related

Pornography

Any material or information that includes nude photos, videos, erotic products, prostitution, and escort.

Exception: Sex toys are permitted to be listed without nudity. (Only in B2B)

Territorial or Racially sensible and offensive items

Any posting that contains information on discrimination on the basis of race, sex, and or religion is strictly prohibited.

Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia

Or any mention of related items including narcotics, tranquilizers, psychotropic, and steroids

Prescribed drugs

Only over the counter drugs may be permitted.

Medical instruments

Members can post authorized medical devices. Documentation required from the related authority of posters country.

Chemicals

Toxic and Poisonous Chemical

Proper government documentation is required.

Any government issues identification documents or equipment to design those documents, money transfer services

Posting policy, terms, and limitation

General;

1. You agree to post in the proper category provided
2. You agree that you will not post restricted items (hyperlink to restricted items)
3. You agree to update information on your post if so is required as soon as the status of information you have posted requires a change
4. You agree to delete your advertisement or update information as soon as the purpose of advertising is served.
5. You agree to post only legal items
6. You agree that you will not post adult or erotic content.
7. You agree that you will not post one item in multiple categories.
8. You agree that you will not post using multiple different Email addresses.
9. You agree that you will not post an advertisement to defame anyone. You agree to post true information so the advertisement viewers or respondents do not get unpleasant surprises or feel misled. You agree to inform Garjoo if you receive inappropriate, rude, or irrelevant responses to your advertisement.

Please note: Such information should be reported with proof.

Any advertisement that does not comply with Garjoo posting policy and terms may be removed from the website.

Posting Advertisement limitation for category

You can post 9 advertisements per categories excluding the jobs and electronics category. When posted the advertisements remain active for a Month. Garjoo user account holders can update on the status of Advertisement anytime and can keep advertisement active or highlight with a minimal fee for another month.

Posting Images limitation per category:

Auto :
Two wheels = 4 pictures
4 wheels = 9 pictures

Please Note: if the product has any defects that respondents need to know before they contact you, the poster, should clearly write and post pictures of those defects.
Real state :
Land: 6
House: 20
Apartment: 9
The rest of all other Categories have no image limitation.

Jobs posting Policy

Advertisement listing in the jobs category is limited to 1. A minimal fee or subscription package is available for higher volumes. Please contact us for more information.

1. Misleading and confusing advertisements for jobs are prohibited.
2. Advertisement of Jobs that require application fees are prohibited
3. Update on the status of the job is required to be posted in the event of any change.

Please Note :

Job Advertisement poster will earn the free advertisement highlight feature from Garjoo platform if the poster agrees to provide updates to applicants via E-mail from the time of receiving completed application to the final selection process.

Electronics Posting policy:

Advertisement listing in the Electronics Category is limited to 4.

A minimal fee or subscription package is available for higher volumes. Please contact us for more information.

Garjoo Advertisement Reply Terms & conditions

Advertisement reply code of Conduct:

1. When responding to the advertisement each user agrees to respond with appropriate words totally related to the advertisement only.

Garjoo users agree that he/she will not:

1. 1A. Respond with unsolicited opinions or comments about the poster
2. 1B. Use abusive words in the reply
3. 1C. Provide the wrong phone no or email address
4. 1D. Response with misleading information
5. 1E. Lie

2. For Job applicants :

Garjoo provides platform for its users to apply jobs or links to apply jobs. While applying from Garjoo platform the user will agree that he/she :

1. 2A.Will read the requirements and assess his/her fit for the job
2. 2B.Reply the advertisement with required documents
3. 2C.Will upload the documents with the proper title of each file/document
4. 2D.Provides and explains evidence of his/her profile match in the space provided
5. 2E.Provides valid email and phone no to receive the updates.
